Nora Foutz brings 7 years of telecommunications network implementation and project management experience to TechnologyWest. Nora has experience working with Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLECs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) and Colocation facilities to implement Fiber, Cloud, WAN, Fixed Wireless and DSL services for enterprise businesses, anchor institutions, schools, healthcare facilities, municipalities and regional governments.

Professional Background

Nora began her telecom career as a Technical Support Representative for AOL, Inc. in Oklahoma City while attending Rose State University. After moving back to her hometown of Seattle, WA she began working at SJI, Inc. managing the implementation of US West frame relay cloud networks for small to medium businesses. She later took an opportunity to train as an Operations Technician at a Colocation facility and learned about data center operations, security, and site management before moving on to West Corporation where she was an Account Manager for AT&T Fortune 100 client cloud networks.

In her latest position, Nora worked as a Telecommunications Service Specialist for FastTrack Communications, a local Southwest Colorado Fiber Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), in Durango, CO. In this role, Nora worked with ISPs, utilities, anchor institutions, municipalities, healthcare facilities, and schools to identify, analyze, and manage the implementation of fiber broadband construction projects in southwest Colorado utilizing private capital, private-public partnerships, E-Rate and grant funding.


Nora’s multi-faceted background in the telecommunications industry has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of broadband networks and the connectivity challenges that rural Colorado communities face due to their unique geographic composition.


Nora Foutz lives in Durango, CO with her husband, Tyson, and 3 children. She is an active volunteer within her community and spends her free time hiking, camping, paddleboarding, alpine skiing and snowshoeing.
