Town of Telluride is saving approximately $2,000 per month when we contracted GoTo Connect VoIP phone services through TechnologyWest. We love everything about our new phone system including the ability to administrate users, devices, lines, and dial plans through a web interface. TechnologyWest also assisted us through the entire onboarding process. Our staff actively use the mobile app, softphone, and GoTo Meeting capabilities which will be replacing most of our other meeting subscriptions.

The town of Silverthorne recently replaced our outdated and end-of-life ShoreTel phone system with GoTo Connect VoIP phone system through TechnologyWest. We wanted to move our PBX system to the cloud to take advantage of the additional functionality of GoTo Connect’s mobile and softphone plus GoTo Meeting unified communications platform. TechnologyWest was there every step of the onboarding process. By moving to the cloud, the Town of Silverthorne was also able to eliminate our PRI circuit.

TechnologyWest assisted Moffat County IT Department with VMware consulting services in building existing 3 ESXi servers into a cluster and migrating from one host to another in case of failure, setup shared SAN storage so that cluster could share storage and migrate workloads from host to host with no downtime. Danny McLean has very extensive VMware skills that made it easy and quick to complete our VMware project. TechnologyWest made the entire process simple and easy. We are very glad we are working with TechnologyWest.

Montezuma County recently engaged TechnologyWest and Webcheck Security to perform a penetration test on our network so that we could adequately understand our security posture. While some of the issues raised in the final report were known, there were others that we didn’t know about including 3rd Party Microsoft SQL Server 2012 used for Motor Vehicle Registrations and Tax Billing & Collection Software was no longer supported and had to be upgraded. I’m very satisfied with penetration testing services and highly recommend TechnologyWest & Webcheck Security!

TechnologyWest installed access controls and cameras in our new election space that was recently remodeled along with 7 Dropbox locations throughout our county. Several cameras were powered by solar and also utilized the use of Cradlepoint devices to connect to the Internet. They also developed an API Script to download video to our Google Workspace account reducing costs by $247,000 over the next 5 years. We are very pleased with the work TechnologyWest did in helping us meet new Election Security requirements.

TechnologyWest was instrumental in providing cameras, access controls, and storage to meet new election security requirements passed by the State Legislature in 2022 with bipartisan support. Lake County was able to use grant funding from the Secretary of State to install 4 cameras and access controls to secure our new election room, all within the grant funding allotted for our small county. During my first election this year, everything worked without a hitch and provided the election security so necessary in today’s election climate.

Dolores County is located in rural Western Colorado next the the Utah state line. With the passing of the Election Security Bill in 2022 the Secretary of State Office oversaw a grant program to cover the costs of adding cameras and access controls and storage of video for 25 months for our County. TechnologyWest also did a great job installing everything prior to the deadline of June 30, 2023, and was a great resource to help us meet new Election Security requirements before the 2024 election cycle.

We are a small county, in rural Colorado. Our courthouse was built in 1913 and is on the Colorado State Historic Registry. Despite these issues, TechnologyWest was able to install cameras and access doors to enable Jackson County to be election-compliant. They assisted us throughout the application process, not only providing recommendations on the best fit of technology for our small office but also being able to work around our busy election schedule. Cameras and access controls were installed maintaining the historic integrity of our Courthouse and are helping make our elections more transparent.

With the passing of SB22-153 legislation in 2022, I was worried that I would not be able to meet the new requirements for election security as we are a county with little funds. Election security is more important than ever and with a big election year coming up in 2024, even the small counties need to meet all of the security requirements. TechnologyWest started with the grant process and followed through to the end. They were professional and thorough and worked through some minor issues until the job was done. I can’t praise TechnologyWest enough for their work!

With the passing of SB 22-153 by the Colorado State Legislature, TechnologyWest helped us through the grant process for election security. They came onsite to personally assist with the Kisi Access Control System to secure the room where our voting system equipment is stored along with the installation of cameras and a video storage system. TechnologyWest continues to make themselves available at any time of day or night to assist with any support issues.
